Goals of Summer Bridge include expanding enrichment opportunities for students and increasing the number of students performing at and above grade level. Summer Bridge K-3, which will feature enjoyable reading, math and science activities, is specifically designed for students who are not reading on grade level. The program will take place Monday through Thursday, from June 17 through July 24. It will also offer free child care provided by the YMCA or R’Club after the academic program ends at 1 p.m. Parents of students who qualify for Summer Bridge will receive letters and brochures with more details. Additional information will be available on the district’s website, www.pcsb.org/summerbridge. This program will be in addition to other summer programs we offer on campus.
